Atlus Announces Radiant Historia for Nintendo DS
Atlus has announced via the latest issue of Famitsu that they will be releasing Radiant Historia for the Nintendo DS. This would have nothing to do with Radiata Stories for the PS2 previously published by Square Enix, although the title may lead you to believe so. The game is being developed by Tri-Ace, the team known for the Star Ocean series, Valkyrie Profile — oh, and also Radiata Stories. Hmm.
There are a few details concerning the game that we are aware of:
STAFF
SYSTEM
Radiant History is being released in Japan November 4th of this year.
I never played Radiata Stories back when it came out for PS2, but I heard some good things about it. The main draw for me was the huge number of recruitable characters, a feature which is surprisingly unique to that game. The fact that this title is for Nintendo DS makes it slightly more appealing to me, although it’s still rather early to know for sure. All this combined with Atlus and some MegaTen talent working on the game certainly make Radiant Historia worth keeping an eye on.
