For this video I show you my favorite end-game hammer set which just about anyone can make as it doesn’t rely on a rare charm. I also show my strategy focusing on maximizing KO damage and staying mobile to avoid getting hit. I get hit a lot in the video, but you get the idea.

For this video I show you how I make a farming run to the volcano stage in Monster Hunter Tri. At the volcano the player can find charms, rust shards, and (at high rank online) ancient shards. At the end of the quest, these items are appraised and will either be true rust/ancient weapons, or they will be a more common weapon.

This is the second and final part of my playthrough of the Japanese Catherine demo.  It was very difficult to read the cell phone e-mails so most of that part is not translated.  Also there were some sections where facts were reiterated, so in the interest of time I did not translate these sections either.  Other than that, most major dialog is fully subbed!  Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

Not too long ago I took a break from pushing around aliens with lady Shepard to play the Catherine demo which was released on the Japanese PSN.  I recorded it with the intention of slapping it on the interwebs for all to enjoy, but it dawned on me that many other people had the same genius idea.  However, I may be the only one with a useless degree imparting me with the ability to translate Japanese!  So that is what I did.  And it wasn’t easy!

This is only part one; due to YouTube’s time restraints I had to chop the whole thing in half.  I hope to have the second half up in the very near future, but can’t really make any promises as to when it will be out.

When it comes to my thoughts on the game, I really enjoyed the demo.  Running around on the map felt fast and fun, and the fear I felt when being perused by a boss was very genuine! It’s been a while since I played a game that gave me that level of terror and excitement.

With the Japanese release this month, we may be close to that Western release we have all been so eager for… After playing this demo, my confidence in the game is stronger than ever, so you better believe I am eager to have a date nailed down.

First I discuss what is working for me and what isn’t in terms of character development. My boxer is sweet-talking and punching his way through the game much easier than my sniper had been, so he has become my main. Part of why the experience is so much better is due to the Good Natured trait as well as higher base charisma.

My character doesn’t have 50 repair just yet, so I haven’t played around with the repair kit strategy yet, but that will be my money making plan once I am banned from gambling at the rest of the casinos.

Fans of energy weapons and anyone looking to make some easy caps should definitely watch this.

Lastly I just wish to once again welcome our new visitors, of which there are many.  Expect a steady stream of Fallout coverage until I get bored with the game.  Considering how long it took for that to happen in Fallout 3, I would say it should be a while!
