So what news have I uncovered since yesterday? Just that bizarre creatures are being found all over earth (1,2). What does it mean? What of our fragile 3rd dimension? I guess I will just move on to video game news.

Today Sega announced that they will be bringing Valkyria Chronicles 2 over to the states. Their estimated release date is Summer of 2010, which would require some pretty aggressive localization considering a Winter release is planned in Japan. In their blog entry concerning the announcement Sega credits their decision to bring the game over to their fans. You know who you are. I am really happy to hear this news and certainly look forward to playing Valkyria Chronicles 2.
In other news, an append disc was released for Disgaea 3 which contains the bonus Raspberyl Mode. Those who purchase the append disc in Japan can download a special bonus from the Playstation Network: a winter school uniform for Raspberyl:

It looks like the white trim on her skirt has been changed to black, she also has long sleeves, and I believe her skull thing may be gone. I appreciate the attention to sprite detail that NIS is putting into this feature, but it still feels like it should have more applications. Maybe we can look forward to more costume options in the upcoming Disgaea Infinite?
The date of Persona Music Live in Tokyo is drawing closer. The official site for the event updated to include a list of goods which will be available at the concert. Some of the ones I am most interested in are:

| Persona Music Live Shirt |
Persona Music Live Towel-Scarf |

| PML LED Pen Light |
PML Poster |
You can find a complete list of the goods here. It looks like they are expecting some pretty heavy demand for these items since a regimented ordering process is being put into place. Rather than pointing and throwing your money at some guy, you need to fill out this form, bring it with you, and then throw your money at some guy. On the off chance that anyone reading this is attending, please pick me up the scarf? I will pay you back!

In addition to the announcement that Final Fantasy XIII will be released in Japan on Decemeber 17th, a new character was also revealed. Her name is Serah Farron (pictured above). She is Lightning’s little sister and also engaged to Snow. This may explain why Snow refers to Lightning as “nee-san”, or older sister. Serah is also a l’Cie and has a tattoo to prove it. No word on if she is a permanent character, playable, or what. I am going to go ahead and call it: Serah is gonna die. Boo-ya.
Well, I believe that taps today’s resources and/or interests dry. What do you guys think of these multi-subject posts? Are they annoying? Should I just divide things? Feedback helps!
