They try to make them look more futuristic and they just end up failing. The original Pokemon were mostly just real life animals with a slightly different appearance. With the newer ones they take a real life animal and add a bunch of wacky colors and weird accessories attached to their body. I can go on about how they fucked up the anime too, but that's for a different time. Even though they messed up the Pokemon designs, I still love the games, and I will buy every iteration they come out of any game. I'm just a Pokewhore like that, and I also want to have them in my collection, which is why I bought Platinum. I never even put the cartridge in my DS yet, and I don't really plan to for a while. Then again, I haven't played D&P since they first came out, and can't remember jack about what goes on in it, so it will be almost like playing a brand new game to me. lol, This is coming from a guy who bought at least 2 copies of each Metal Gear Solid game. :lol: I was thinking of picking this up, but I don’t know. $35 on a game similar to one I’ve already beaten.
