iChamploo by Foxes
Our hard-working maintenance person Foxes recently launched a personal project that has been in the works for a while now. The site is called iChamploo, named after an Okinawan delicacy of the same name. iChamploo is a community blog for mixed-Asians where several individuals contribute articles across multiple categories. The articles pertain to the unique experiences of the authors who are all of mixed-Asian descent.
Currently there are only a few authors including Foxes and Sophie, a frequent commenter here at Kotowari.org. I anticipate great things for the site and encourage everyone to check it out and read a few articles. If you know any mixed-Asians who you think may be interested in writing articles, or just reading some, let them know!
My personal recommendation is a recent article involving a bunch of confused Japanese diners and a conveyor belt. Congrats to Foxes on the launch of the site! I just hope you’ll still be helping out here at Kotowari, it would fall apart without you!
