I heard on sb.net that it’s TWO new Metal Gear Games, one for PS3 and one for PSP and there will be connectivity between the two titles but no details about the content of either title and that the announcement should be coming soon, which probably means E3. I’m not sure what to believe. If the full size scan is still up i’ll send it your way.

It could be a note that things are going to take place in northern Africa this time around, since the patch seems like a really blatant reference to the humanitarian group Doctors Without Borders, and northern Africa is where a lot of their effort is focused now.

Especially regarding integrating child soldiers back into society.

I wouldn’t put it past Kojima to make a game starring an eight year old Raiden being trained by Big Boss, but I don’t honestly expect to see that.

Well the insignia on Big Boss’s hat does look a lot like a mishmash of all world nations slapped together to look like a skull. This kind of supports your idea Dylan. I think you definitely may be on to something, but like you said we’ll just have to wait. Kojima is good at throwing curve balls.

I’ve been thinking.. The P and R thing.. Maybe Pliskin and Raiden? Though that makes no sense since Pliskin didn’t wear an eye-patch.. But hey it’s the best guess I’ve thought of.

Then again, from the scan (or, really, picture), the Ninja’s eyes look Red, and from what I remember, Raiden had no red eyes, ever. If I would have to guess, I’d say it’s Frank Jeager and Big Boss some time after Portable Ops, while Jeager was still being called Null, and this was their first real attempt at bringing the countries together, like The Boss always dreamed of.

Ah well, guess we’ll just have to wait, darn it.

Gray Fox would be interesting… Another theory is that he is Solidus, just wearing the eye patch on the wrong eye. I am still hoping it is Big Boss but we’ll see
