Always have the Beast Master stand adjacent to your Ifrit and spam Wild Groom and Dominate on him. Hit the enemy with a basic atk from the Male Gunner before you hit with the Ifrit. Also Episode 5 battle with Grudge in the title, the one with all the zombies, is a great starter for quick lvling of your Ifrit. Zombies are weak to fire, and the majority of the map is on a single row of geo blocks with some decent bonuses. Stick an armor knight out front and have him throw zombies back to the Ifrit/Beast Master/Male Gunner conga line. Hilarious little bit of info: in the NA release the Crusher magic change atk is called Burning Fever and the description reads "I need my doctor prescribed cow bell". Classic.
