Caught this promotional video for Makai Senki Disgaea 3 on YouTube. It looks like the sprite quality improved–the battle animation seems smoother, although the backgrounds are still lacking (which may not necessarily be a bad thing.) It also seems like the throwing ability has changed since the Playstation2 games.
Roy already mentioned previously that the bigger disc space might be reserved for better animation. What do you think? An evil marketing tactic to entice fans to buy a Playstation3, or does it look like it legitimately requires the extra space?
