Marvelous Announces Hero 30 for PSP: Pixel Fun
The countdown Marvelous Entertainment posted on their site a while back has run its course. In its place a bizarre site for a bizarre game has appeared. The name of that game is Yuusha Sanjyuu which translates to Hero 30.
The game takes place in a world where man and demon have been locked in a great war for 500 years. The demon kings are in the process of casting a powerful spell, and there are 30 seconds left until it is completed. It is my understanding that Hero 30 takes place in those final 30 seconds…
The game appears to be purposely pixelated to look like RPGs of the distant past, which is an interesting effect. I am guessing since Hero 30 is for the PSP some more impressive graphics will be featured as well.
I honestly don’t know how to feel about this game, there just is not enough info. I would say at this point I am cautiously curious. I think Marvelous Entertainment is a pretty cool studio though and I have confidence in them. I look forward to learning more and will post whatever I find. The game is scheduled for a spring release this year in Japan.
