Mini-Vlog: Kentucky Thunder
OK, so in case you didn’t notice (which you probably didn’t) the output of our vlogs has screeched to a dramatic halt since editor-person Foxes has become gainfully employed. We just don’t have the same resources to crank out a video in time for it to remain relevant in the eyes of the internet. For this reason we’re trying a more laid back approach with zero editing and a less strict scope of focus.
Anyway, Nutgarden5, Foxes, and myself were eating at a local burger tavern when we were struck with inspiration. Foxes managed to capture it all on her new iPhone, hence the bizarre aspect ratio.
I imagine Kentucky Thunder is largely menu based with a few mini-games to spice things up. There may be some kind of underlying story which requires the creation of horses with particular stats to proceed. I imagine the story is detective-y, maybe about aliens and some kind of labyrinth.
Part of the inspiration for Kentucky Thunder comes from Dragons SEEDS, a PSX dragon raising/fighting game. As we mention at least once, Final Fantasy VII’s chocobo racing system was also the basis of some ideas.
What do you guys think? Do you have what it takes… to ride with thunder?
