Monster Hunter Gamervention
Hunter’s Log – Entry 019209E
Today a video was released concerning my relationship with Monster Hunter Tri taken UNDER FALSE PRETENSES. The video is edited to make it appear that I am “addicted” to Monster Hunter to the detriment of myself and those around me. HOW ORIGINAL. As if anything could be farther from the truth!
Anyway, my former girlfriend and former best-friend are both interviewed. They were obviously paid off — the part of my girlfriend was played by an actress who I recently learned isn’t even an actress, but a blogger! Yea, the wackos over at Gamervention must have a genius on payroll when it comes to casting! Joel agreed to be in the video as well, probably in an attempt to get his acting career off the ground. Jeez.
I have sent several letters (some bordering on death threats) to Gamervention demanding FULL DISCLOSURE. I was lied to: I was told I would be showing off my hunting skills, my characters, armor sets, and my personal playing habits. Imagine my surprise, when I walked into an “intervention” complete with a nut-job shrink and ONE PARTICIPANT. The only thing I could think to do was combine a bomb casing with some of my own feces to try to make Joel let go of me.
This video will surely mar my reputation as a serious blogger, gamer, and hunter. Just be aware that what you see on television isn’t what is always the truth — corporations are just out to make a buck, they don’t care whose life they ruin. I should get back to waxing my Rathalos sculpture, it’s rather hot today which is causing it to sweat. A hunter’s work is never done!
