Last night NIS America announced they will be releasing Trinity Universe this June in both the US and Europe. If you’ve read my previous articles on the game, (see related entries) you’ll know that Trinity Universe will feature a number of characters in the 3rd-dimension for the first time ever! These characters come from three different publishers: NIS, Gust, and Idea Factory. But who are we kidding, I am mostly excited about Flonne, Prinny, and of course Etna!
Trinity Universe is a basic dungeon crawler at it’s core, but it features a number of truly unique, border-line bizarre systems. I have already written at length about the title, so I encourage you to read those articles if you want to know more.
I am thrilled to hear that NIS America is bringing over this PS3 exclusive, I think it has a lot of potential to present some popular characters in a whole new and exciting way.
