NIS Spills Their Guts

I was rather surprised to read a recent interview with Nippon Ichi Software by the gang at RPGamer.com. Generally interviews with video game companies don’t reveal much more than we already know, and frankly are a waste of everyone’s time. Thankfully not in this case. I will sum up the important topics covered in the interview:

• Disgaea 3 will feature downloadable content, including at least:
  • Maps
  • Characters
  • Story Chapters
• The aforementioned port of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure onto the Nintendo DS will be receiving an American localization.
• Disgaea DS will not feature subtitles of any kind, probably due to the small screen of the Nintendo DS.
• NIS seems interested in the possibility of bringing over the much talked about X-Edge.

I am glad to see one more reason why Disgaea 3 deserves to be on a behemoth like the PS3. If you wish to read the entire interview you can find it here.
