If you were reading my coverage of this year’s E3, you may recall this sexy plastic vehicle which was on display at the event. It is the ice elemental Summon for Final Fantasy XIII; The Shiva Sisters in riding/gestalt mode. After much waiting Square Enix has revealed sufficient details to allow retailers to start pre-orders for the figure. With some digging around I have found the bike available both on AmiAmi (~$175 USD) and Kidnemo ($219.99).
The price differences are largely based on shipping options. AmiAmi will have more options which will vary in price, but with KidNemo you have a flat $9.50. Odds are my research is in naught since I doubt many people are in a position to shell out this kinda money on plastic.
Still, look how awesome it is: you can actually transform the bike into the two sisters:
Even if you aren’t a big fan of figures you gotta admit that is impressive! The current release date expectation varies from late March to late April. Either way, if you plan on acquiring these figures, definitely pre-order ASAP!
I think the Shiva Sisters look a little more convincing than their human counterparts, mainly because of the joint issue I discussed earlier. For some reason the obvious joints look more natural on robots…
