The second Persona 4 themed plush being produced by Atlus finally hit the D-Shop. Like its cousin Izanagi, Jiraiya goes for 2,980 yen, or around $30 USD. His points of interest are the number of shuriken all over his body, as well as his flowing red “hero” scarf.
When I made the last post concerning the Izanagi plush it pained me to show off items which would not be available to those of us in the West. A commenter by the name of “Jay” recommended a service called Celga to me for purchasing Japanese goods from the internet and having them shipped to the states.
I decided to give Celga a try, since such a service would really be great for items like this. I managed to find a set of all the Valkyria Chronicles figures and used Celga to purchase them. I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. Everything went ideally and I would recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing items from any Japanese sites. Hell you can even bid on items on sites like rakuten.
I don’t think I will be purchasing Jiraiya here as the shipping fees from Celga can get a bit steep, but I just thought I would mention it. I know I have some readers out there who will literally throw money at possessions they must acquire so this service would probably be great for them… or horrible. I am not sure.
If anyone has any questions about using Celga let me know and I will try to help!

Celga’s shipping fees aren’t to bad, they’re pretty regular from what I see whenever I order something that’s coming in from Japan. I recently bought three Touhou plushies through Celga and shipping was only about 22 bucks, not bad for EMS shipping.
Neato! I got mentioned in this post. XD I’m glad your first celga experience went smoothly. Btw, my Izanagi plush has arrived.

Another shopping service that I’ve heard is good is crescent shop, but I haven’t tried using them before.
