If you thought about buying the last Rise Kujikawa figure but decided not to since she didn’t show enough skin, you’re in luck. Alter is now producing a bikini version which may remind you of the bathing suit competition in which Naoto actually won.
The figure is still 1/8th scale, but it’s actually a little cheaper than the last Rise figure, probably due to the fact that less detail goes into a bathing suit than the school uniform. It’s available for pre-order from KidNemo for $71.99 here.
Like any decent representation of a Japanese high school student should, Rise comes with a keitai, complete with Kuma strap accessory and a pair of fashionable sunglasses:
She is able to wear the sunglasses, and hold either the keitai or glasses in her right hand. Is this feeling a bit Barbie or is it just me? I think I like the original figure better…
The Persona 4 merchandise just won’t stop flowing yet still many characters are sadly being neglected. Please direct your demands for representation for these poor characters to Atlus Japan. Remember, since they are fictional it’s up to you to give them a voice. Thank you.
