Pokémon Black and White: All 155 New Pokémon Revealed

A lot of people weren’t happy with the new starter evolutions for Pokémon Black and White. Maybe 152 other pokémon will make you feel better? A lot of them are crazy. Really crazy. Like this thing which carries a stick that turns into a beam and then some pillars:

Too bad it’s pure fighting — could have had some promise with a weird type combo.  If you want to peruse the new pokémon in order and see their type, head to Serebii.  They are even starting to get some abilities and base stats up!

A few interesting combos worth noting:

  • Kyuremu #646: Dragon + Ice
  • Urugamosu #637: Bug + Fire
  • Goruggo #623: Ground + Ghost
  • Maggyo #618: Electric + Ground
  • Shanderaa #609: Ghost + Fire

The list goes on really, there are some really unique critters in this batch. Is that enough to get you past their weird appearances, or is this generation of pokémon just a sick collection of twisted freaks?  I find that any pokémon is loveable, as long as it’s my pokémon complete with an awesome nickname.

Well in my opinion these pokemon dont look that bad,
after the more natural looking ones we had in the last edition we now have some more artificial/mutant-like looking, but maybe this fits the new theme this edition tries to imply…who knows

Well by the looks of a lot of the region with the big city, it seems that quite a bit may be based on industrial/technological themes or artificial like you say. My guess it's based on city life for the most part. I honestly was not really disappointed with this group, really looking forward to a lot of them, some were a little…..different….but i'm still gonna enjoy using and trying them all out.

The stats seem to be balanced better overall but there is still quite a bit of unbalance. I also can't figure out why they create more normal/Flying combinations as they're old by now. Why not just Flying? Many of the designs are also pretty horrible. Anyone looking forward to using #569? Ughh…

This generation seems to have the most unbalanced stat distributions ever (Ononokusu, Shandera, Roopushin, Doryuzu, etc.). I still like this gen the most by far though.

You can't have normal flying because the mechanics of roost would get messed up. Basically if you get rid of normal flying types, you get rid of the flying type altogether.

Ay jus saying my opinion but damn do these pokemon look like a buncha retards sat down and drew shit….i dont like……ahhhhhh…most of them if not maybe all of them

well at least they look better than the ones in platinum edition… that passed generation didnt even look close to decent. well anyways they will never be as well made as the first and second generation and thats a fact… they dont have more ideas how many times have u seen a pokemon that looks like a squirrel??? yeah thats my point cant argue with the fact that is impossible to make better looking pokemons, but enjoy of the game and the story which is the one that really matters…
