If you were one of the individuals disappointed to learn that that Doublejump Books guide for Prinny, Can I Really Be the Hero? was available in only a digital form, you are in luck. Kind of. The publisher now offers physical copies of the guide which are printed to order. With that convenience comes a somewhat… elevated price tag. The guides are available for $34.99 each, well over the $9.99 price for the electronic version.
The publisher insists that since the copies are printed to order, they are much higher quality than what we are used to from Doublejump guides:
This is a special “print on demand” copy of the Prinny guide. It costs quite a bit more than normal because they’re printed one at a time.
But holy #$%@ these are *nice*. The quality is even better than a normal printed guide. Normal printed guides are printed at 186,234,432 copies per second though a web press (mass produced). Since these print on demand ones are printed one at a time on really nice quality paper, they look incredible. It feels like a collectors item. Click these for pics:

I guess it’s really up to you, I know I won’t be buying A guide that costs almost as much as it’s respective game. Still I am glad that DJB decided to offer this, as it shows they know their customers pretty well.
