Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 Theories Part II
DISCLAIMER
The following are conclusions I have reached after spending much too much time with the Persona 4 PV DVD included with this weeks Famitsu magazine. I do not intend for any of this to be taken as absolute fact since no one can either confirm nor deny my predictions. With that said, read on:
Murders
There may be a connection between the urban legend of Mayonaka TV, and the fact that the murders occur when it is cloudy. Perhaps the murderer also uses Mayonaka TV as an avenue to reach his next victim. The protagonists uncle, Ryoutarou, is a detective in Inabashi.
Since Inabashi is a rural town, it makes sense that Ryoutarou would work on the case of the bizarre murders occurring in town. This may be how the protagonist and his friends learn about the murderers pattern and attempt to stop him.
I was hoping the weapon smithing option would be available in Persona 4. I know they are adding it into Persona 3 FES, so it may show up, but with a different NPC perhaps.
Again I do not attempt to pass any of my theories off as truth. I simply offer them to stir up discussion and encourage the exchange of ideas between fans of the series. If anyone agrees or disagrees, feel free to leave a comment.
