Hello, just want to confirm some of the theories, since I've played the (japanese) version of the game for some time myself.

Of course this contains heavy spoilers, feel free to edit/delete it.

About weapon smithing, the real thing is that you don't just buy weapons, but you have to smith them; meaning you have to gather the indregients first from the dungeons, sell a certain number of them to the smith, and buy the results from him.

The girl with pigtails is Kujikawa Rise. She will be your support character replacing Kuma (just like Fuuka replacing Mitsuru).

I've read some of your theories, and most of them are correct; the glasses are used to see the inside dungeon and the shadows; and the purpose of fighting shadows before gaining the personae is because [SPOILER]
As stated in P3 FES, Personae are actually tamed shadows; that's why you have to fight them first and admit that the'another self' is yourself and they will become your personae.

Nice detective work flying, I will try and take a closer look at these to see if I can verify anything. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Oh, and if you look at the screenshots closer, it appears that Yousokue is talking to the MC when Magician S.Link ranks up, meaning your male party members are their respective S.Links this time.

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff305/megaten_dds/p4_8.jpg

Check out the picture of the Velvet Room interface. There is an icon that isn't there in Persona 3, looking like a non-symmetric starburst around something. I haven't played FES yet, so I don't know where weapon fusions were done.

All of the lists I've seen that summarize the known information of the game say
-Weapon creation system from FES returns.
-Easy, Normal, and Hard modes selectable from the beginning.

Nice, thanks for the tip flying. If you happen to check back, and have that screen shot handy could you send it my way? I am very excited for weapon fusing, since just buying them or finding them leaves something to be desired. I would much rather graft a demon to a weapon. Thanks for the comment!

I'm pretty sure they said weapon fusions were coming back, and I think I saw it on the Velvet Room's menu in a screen shot.
